Louis took legoshi to mordor that day

Athea Ichor

Nahhh, Legoshi and Louis have more sexual tension than him and Haru tbh. Even their voice actors joke about it.

Lynn

So on the "tension" question, I've seen some BTS stuff on it so I *might* be able to help focus in on it... several months late lol So the original scene in the manga was all about focusing on how Louis is raging internally at having to work his herbivore body to it's limit in order to showcase any degree of "strength" while Legoshi had proverbial mountains of said strength without even trying. His confrontation there was him trying to not only establish dominance (socially lol), but to prove to himself that he could overcome his own weaknesses. That's why he demanded Legoshi bite him, to try and prove his resilience... only to feel that primal fear when the fangs started to sting his hand. In the subbed version of this scene - which came out first and the English VA team had to adapt without lip-flap alterations - the Japanese VAs maintained that typical theatric tone commonplace in anime dubbing. When it came time for the English VAs to cover the scene, though, they quietly decided to "lean in" to the jokey commentary about this scene having "sexual tension." Jonah Scott and Griffin Puatu (Legoshi and Louis) quietly agreeing to play into it a bit for the fans. So to the question: "Is there sexual tension in this scene?" the answer is basically "The fans and English VAs made it canon" lol Hope it helps, late as it is.

i think alicia's been exposed to too much sexual content i'm with ant on that one

ATROPHOS

I agree with Alicia, that was charged with an Energy

Nik Nak

about? :o

Princess Paladin

Ahh love beaststars and legosi is a good boi also glad i gott patreon is been very worth it :p

james blaire

Maybe I'm just not a very horny person, but the first time I watched I felt uncorfortable with the wall scene not because it's sexual, but because it was like bullying. Also maybe because I felt Louis hurt in that scene, so I couldn't think of it outside of him being angry and disheartened. In any case, yeah, the yaoi goggles are real in that scene kk

Yurei Okami

You are wrong

HeavenlyNoomba

it was super clear

Princess Paladin

you are ragging on the subs when it's the dubs that are getting things wrong. XD they literally just misgendered the rhino girl, calling her "him". she's a girl. it's less that the subs are bad, and more that the dub doesn't match what's really being said! EDIT: also, all i'll say is, there is most likely a LOT of smut of Louis and Legoshi

Princess Paladin

Thank you for the episode! I love hearing you guys just hangout and talk it always feels like Im hanging out with friends lol <3

Lemon Rat

Maybe, but if he did it wasn't very clear. ^^;

Thiren_Skrymir

Didn't he say Canidae Family which would be accurate?

86exe

Thanks for the video

TrinitytheApostle

damn dude really didn't think there was anything wrong with "candy family" when he was reading the line.... he meant canine

BornUnMotivated

Respectfully... I def believe that Luis wasn't trying to be sexual on that scene, I'm with Ant. Lol

Squ4reCac7us

Fr lol By the end of the story, they have more chimestry than Legoshi has with the rabbit lmao 🤣

Fernando Alonso Wilford

Three words: The bar scene. If you know, you know.

James Gheen

I sorta compare it to Top Gun. The creator(s) probably didn't intend for it to come off as homoerotic, but it definitely comes off that way fairly easily.

James Gheen

I can't believe people DONT see the sexual tension between those two

Divi Forrester

So CILF is a household name now? My mission is complete!

Joey Cat

Think this was mentioned on some of the earlier vids, but the subs are so weird because the subs are for the Japanese dub, whereas in the English dub they changed the lines, largely meaning the same things, but the structure of/words in the sentences differ a lot.

Sarc

A lot of people have noticed the sexual tension in that scene it’s definitely subtext at least. The series doesn’t shy away from stuff like that since they also brought up 14 year old dominatetrix in the same episode.

Circuitdoodles

So you don't know what I was refering to in the video (as a joke) and you got offended by it?

Barnabás Mucsi

"i think most males have been pushed against a wall while getting physical with a prick" not helping lmao

Harper

haven't watched the episode yet but stfu

Harper

That's a good way to put it, idk if I can even call it queerbaiting but it's something like that.

James Decker

Get out of here, as someone who's finished the manga the sexual tension is very much on purpose. Can't say more without spoiling but I'll say certain symbolism is there for a reason.

James Decker

Defenitly sexual tension lol I've finished the manga and let me tell you, the sexual tension of those two only grows bigger lmao

Fernando Alonso Wilford

It ain't that deep Alicia.

Barnabás Mucsi

Well, according to the author there's no sexual undertones between Legosi and Louis. But it's hard not to say she wrote it in a very subtexty way.

James Gheen

Yeah, definitely agree with sexual tension between Louis and Legoshi. I watched this show with a friend and when this scene came up I was like “oh…OHHHH” more things will be revealed later so stay tuned!

Cark

Tbf that was simple aggression from Louis imo. I think most males have been pushed against a wall while getting physical with a prick or smtg

Alexandre Géhin

Oh yeah, I agree with Alicia. If there was no female love interest in this show, this would be a BL.

Mojo

Rabbits coming from the moon is a Japanese legend iirc. It's a bit like "the moon is made of cheese" or stuff like that. Araki (the author of JoJo) even made a one shot story about it but don't look into it yet or it will spoil a character and that wouldn't be cool.

Bastiwen

I would agree with you... I sense definitely some sexual tension between those two

Christo Badenhorst

Louis to Legoshi: nice shoes, let's fuck

cyberspacecat

UwU: no there is no sexual undertone in that scene. There's is a specific reason why Louis is acting dominaniering toward legosi, however I can't say why without out spoilers. All I can say it will make sense in later episodes. The show is pased very well.

Wubs

when she typed in "zone" I was really worried she was going to search zone ankha.. anyway folks have been thirsting over robin hood for decades, don't worry about it :p edit: no yeah there's definitely sexual tension there, they're shipped a lot too.

cyberspacecat

The fact that the opening line "Nice shoes, let's fuck." worked is crazy!!!

Simon Bélanger

This show is ESPECIALLY horny a lot of the time. lol

Dyno

Gonna have to agree with Alicia, def had some sexual undertones

Christian Thomas
