In one of the earlier episodes he had also mentioned the fact That anything erased by the hand can not be fixed as it's been removed from space, hence there's nothing to put back together.

2023-03-01 19:53:56 +0000 UTCI admit that i mostly have in mind the Duwang translation (since it was the only one available for around a decade), but in that one it was pretty clear that it's the other way around. Crazy Diamond is both slower and weaker than Star Platinum, said by both Jotaro and Red Hot Chili Pepper. It's also shorter ranged (1 meter vs 2), and since there's no mention of it having "machine-like precision" or anything of the sort, there isn't any reason to think it's remarkable in that regard. Crazy Diamond is powerful, stat-wise. But IT IS a step down from Star Platinum.
