Maddie the witch

This is my favorite episode for One reason. β€œHEY! RIOT!” With 2 Simple words, he started a riot. Lololol

Chris White

When you think about it more Ty's betrayel makes sense as well. Because she joined Azula out of fear of her,but because Mai stood up to her and found her voice that also gave her the courage to stand up to her as well.

If you want another absolutely amazing anime/manga with peak writing, check out Dr. Stone.

Alicia joking: "Your father's meat" Sokka being serious: "My father's meat" 😨😨😨

KaijinGarou

Can confirm as always that big guy (2m tall now) people would just start fights to make themselves look big whereas I'm more like the guy sokka's dad pushed.

Aethergoggles

something that never really occurred to me this episode, is why do they just have a large two man saw available, like if they ever need to drop the line surely the answer is some sort of quick release hitch or something not large woodcutting saw for all the trees that we cut in this volcano we stay in, man I'm way too high for this

Ganjaman

Man, I always forget, but... Suki's so cool, lol.

Andrew Thao

That moment of Ty Lee coming in from off-screen to attack Azula was so satisfying--these fuckers really know how to construct a scene.

Liesmith

Chit Sang was imprisoned for being too much of a real one.

In Zuko's defense, leaving Mai with just a letter was absolutely the correct thing to do. If he'd told her face-to-face that he was going to betray his father, it would've put her in an impossible situation: 1. If she was in agreement with him and wanted to join, she'd have to leave her entire life behind and commit treason alongside him, probably destroying her family's lives in the process. 2. If she wasn't in agreement with him she'd either have to let a traitor escape, which would possibly land her in prison (lying to Azula about it probably wouldn't work) and ruin her family's lives--or she'd have to report Zuko or even try to stop him. She's completely justified in feeling pissed and betrayed by Zuko, but his course of action was probably the most mature way of handling things.

Liesmith

there are graphic novels telling what happends after book 3

Sven Hegenbart

I'm sure someone might have already told you, but besides Korra (which I love) there are also comics and books to help ease your Avatar is ending sadness, the books about Kyoshi are particularly good :) Also this one of my favourite episodes, Mai standing up to azule will forever be in my mind, love your reactions as always :D

Bardukite

The riot scene always reminds me of the one Who's line is it anyway joke "Things to say, that will always start a fight!" Ryan Stiles: Guy's, wanna fight?

Kevin

No meat for Toph, 0/10 episode

Ivan

Yes, the guard Chit Sang pointed out was the guard who initially got him thrown in the cooler in part 1. My man got his revenge.

John McFarland

Thank you for the episode! The line 'I love Zuko more than I fear you' is a line that has always stuck with me. It such a powerful scene to me <3
