JoJo's Part Five Episode 2

OOOOOO ITS GANG GANG TIME

JoJo's Part Five Episode 2

Comments

I think the stands might be album names, could be wrong

Jorden Powell

Yes, you did watch this opening in your all opening reaction vid.

ThunderRaichi10000

Josephs dad seemed alright from the 2 entire things we know about him lmfao

Zeallust

It ain't that deep Harper.

Zeallust

Gold Experience actually got attention from Prince's lawyers to the point they pulled a JoJo PS2 game from getting localized, which might have made the JoJo Boom happen a decade early

inqman

bro shut the fuck up, she didn't even know who Narancia was at this point let alone how old he was

Harper

Similarly to how all of Killer Queen's stand abilities are wrapped up in bombs, Gold Experience's abilities are all encompassed as "life-giving" 1. Obviously the ability to instill inanimate objects with life; but these objects hold a certain property to redirect damage. This is the only aspect of the ability that doesn't completely make sense when related to life-giving, but it doesn't end up mattering in the long run. 2. The overcharge is just what happens when he "gives life" to something that is already living - it shows that he can't just punch his enemies and turn them into trees, also it only happens when he punches his enemy, not their stand.

I liked Part 5 but I too have a gripe with Gio’s powers. Not the same as yours though. It’s just how they feel like completely unrelated powers stitched together. Like, Killer Queen’s powers were all related to bombs. While 2/3 of echoes abilities were sound based. But Giorno’s abilities just don’t seem to make sense. Particularly his counter ability. I also not a fan with how he sometimes doesn’t abuse certain stand powers. Like during the Black Sabbath fight, he showcases a really OP ability involving a tree that never gets used again.

PrivateSparky

Bro narancia a minor, alicia you gotta chill

Soul_XIII

Maybe I didn't phrase it right. I don't mean like completely random, but it's not obvious if the life form is Giorno's choice entirely, or simply a random life form that is convenient to the situation. I feel like in a lot of scenarios, the life form is convenient to the situation but also not the ideal thing a person would pick if they had full control, so it seemed unclear to me.

NerdyGothKitty

It is very obvious that Giorno chooses what life form he turns an object into. He chose to sprout a tree out of the ground to escape Koichi. What would he have done if the tile turned into a cockroach or something? If it was random, the odds of Giorno getting the exact living being he needs to get out of every situation every time would be astronomically improbable.

Bowie Jenne

It’s been years, but one of the main reasons I remember not liking part 5 as well as most of the other parts is because the stand powers seemed very inconsistent this season. Like let's review what we learn about Giorno's stand ability in these first two episodes: If it hits an object, the object temporarily turns into a (random?) living creature AND that living creature seeks out the object’s last owner AND if someone strikes that creature, the damage is reflected back to the attacker AND if Giorno's stand attacks a person, that person’s consciousness goes into overdrive leading to out of body experiences and enhanced perception speeds. And these are just the base abilities without any evolutions or combo shenanigans going on.

NerdyGothKitty

The sweat a person produces when lying is different from regular sweat, but is still the same as sweat created during stress or fear. Considering what Giorno experience during the moment in which Bruno licked him, he would've tasted the same sweat as he would had Giorno been telling the truth. As such, Bruno most likely uses the lie-detecting-tongue as a form of psychological warfare.

N00B

Part 6 is the closest we’ve ever gotten to that 🥲, maybe part 1 as well

AlyssaCrowns

For the record, no more iconic lines are fucked up from here on out in the dub-titles

Yagi di Hoshi

so gold experience is an album by prince and sticky fingers is a rolling stones album also some iconic lines seem to have been changed in this sub for some reason but when he says primo mafioso he's supposed to say "gang star"

Derek Gonzalez Mercado

I have been waiting SO LONG, to see your first reaction to Jodeci as an ending theme. You guys did not disappoint!

Kawaii Edgelord

Have a good father as a JoJo (impossible challenge)

Evan

The site you’re watching is CONSISTENTLY fucking up iconic lines and it’s very disappointing.

Zackerex

Aww they changed it to Primo Mafiso instead of what he actually says "Gangstar".

Zandorum

By the way, every character except for Giorno in part 5 is named for Italian food. Buccelatti is a type of Italian fig cookie.

Jargo

When Giogio was fifteen years old: let's kill the gang leader, take over his gang and stop drug dealing. When Dio was fifteen years old: Hey guys, don't hang out with Jojo.
