if erwin came back after leading so many to their deaths again, after feeling at peace with levi taking the choice from him, he would not have been the same. armin was the right choice. yeah, he'll feel guilty for a while but i guarantee erwin wouldve been a shell of a man to how he used to be.

it’s funny how people still argue about who should’ve been chosen when the show makes it clear that Erwin was objectively the correct choice, they literally say that Armin was chosen based on emotion 😂 this choice wasn’t about which was right, it was about which was merciful
