2023-05-22 00:37:35 +0000 UTCFrom what I had heard the animation studio got screwed over by their subcontractors where the in between animation was so unusable they basically had to reanimate everything from scratch and in most cases were lucky they even got episodes done in time for them to be aired. Which really is a shame because if Mushoku Tensei and Re:Zero are considered the best isekai stories, then Spider is in the tier right below it. It does a lot of unique things in isekai.
