All of the dinosaurs are Earth Wyrms of different evolution stages. The "dragon" killed by the classmates was just an Earth Wyrm around the level of the Eel fire wyrm. While the two Earth Dragons met by Kumoko are actual Dragons (having already hit their final evolution).

Like the wasps our poor little spider was running from are on the ground when the heroes defeat the monsters, and they're person-sized! The spiked spider they fight is also the same form Kumiko is right now and it's like 3 feet tall or some crap, it's WAY bigger than you'd expect! So whenever you see Kumiko flipping around in a fight, just remember that she's roughly the size of a Great Dane while she's doing all this stuff. And the 'catfish' she took out would have been freaking MASSIVE, too!

2023-05-22 10:12:22 +0000 UTCOne detail that's super easy to not notice is that Kumiko changes every Opening to match her new evolution. If you look, this one has her with the dark frill and the pink balls, and the last few had her with the white body with pink spots on it.
