I just don't see why they assumed Abbacchio would ditch them. Also, he tried to be a good cop in a dirty force, took a bribe once and got his partner killed, which made him quit and turn to alcohol.

2023-04-25 15:23:43 +0000 UTCwon't spoil beyond what is known since this episode, but the age old question of King Crimson vs The World really depends on the scenario. First of all we have to analyze the two stands that can stop time, aka The World and Star Platinum, no doubt that they are powerful stands but really wears away at the stamina of the user. Then there is King Crimson which erases time? well it erases time by playing out the path of the actions within the next 10 seconds whilst removing himself and all memories of the 10 seconds at the same time. Now lets compare both time stop and time erasure, both actually affects everybody no matter how far away, the thing with both King Crimson and both time stop stands is how far the stands can reach whilst during each of their respective abilities hence the range, thats why despite affecting everything and everyone, both are considered close ranged stands. Now here comes the differences, King Crimson follows the flow of time, interfering with it whilst the flow of time is still happening, meanwhile time stop does not follow the flow of time as it literally pauses the flow of time, allowing the user to act in the stopped flow of time which makes its action immediate and hard to counter if your do not have time stop as well. So in a fight between King Crimson and time stop there is a myriad of scenarios depending on whether King Crimson is facing Jotaro or DIO. In a fight between King Crimson and Star Platinum it would be a mind game and who can react the fastest type of scenario as Jotaro is only human, so he doesnt have the stamina to maintain the advantage with time stop, so it would require Jotaro learning about King Crimson's ability and eventually coming to the conclusion that he would have to react with time stop before the time erasure. In a fight between King Crimson and DIO, there is still a chance of King crimson winning but is decreasing as time passes, but DIO unlike Jotaro is able to maintain time stop longer due to his vampiric nature and if he did not lose in part three it was more than likely his time stop would be at most 11 seconds and above not to mention DIO's regen and vampiric strength which also would have been even stronger if he had survived part three. Therefore in a situation of King Crimson vs The World, it would be a matter of time before boss tires out or DIO catches him off guard as King Crimson would be unable to find out why boss is getting injured or killed, remember time erasure follows the flow of time while time stop has paused the flow of time, as such King Crimson having no time stop is only able to go on the attack as he would have no way of defending against something that does not operate during the flow of time. The reason King crimson is deadly is due to the fact that most of his enemies are human and most of their abilities do not operate outside the flow of time.

2023-04-25 10:31:33 +0000 UTCProlly only buying it to watch it to watch it legally. As a new JoJo fan, I had searched everywhere. I found no other way, so I bought it not too expensively on ebay. Because I wanted to see it. I don't regret it - it has some neat stuff, like (probably pre-Stand) Yukako and Koichi focus, Josuke's grandpa focus, Jotaro talking to Joseph on the phone in English, just like I always thought, cuz I don't believe for a second that Joseph ever learnt qny foreign lg (unless Italian on his youth to impress Suzie into considering dating him, and also to say some curses in Italian to Caesar for fun), and some other neat stuff. It is an okay movie that would prolly be much better if the second movie had ever been made. Still mostly worth it, if you can get it used on ebay. Same with JoJo sdc 00s - 90s ovas. I now have from ebay a nice legal (rechecked that thrice) dvd set of them with only French subs. The quality is mostly ok, and these ovas are an amazing summary that takes itself a bit too srsly, aka, 90s, I love the ovas. :)

I mean, I guess I gotta give props to CR for maybe not trying to overuse "bastard" as it is in sooo many shonen/seinen material, but they could at least put something tonally correct in place of it instead of nothing?

As in, while he's killing some of them the others might manage to get glimpses of him AND run away. And then, knowing what he looks like, they might be able to track him down and perhaps even ambush him.

2023-04-24 16:07:48 +0000 UTCIf anyone was wondering how King Crimson's ability works he can see briefly into the future and if something is fated that he doesn't want he can remove himself from that future while the events play out as fate ordained. He can remove himself for up to 10 seconds and anything that was fated to happen will happen, even if he was originally the reason something happened. He was fated to kidnap Trish in the elevator, therefor erasing time simply removed the moment he did it and skipped to when time began again inserting himself into that moment.
