King crimson didnt fast forward time, people explained it wrong by using the remote analogy, its literally just skipping time, like erasing it out of existance, and its only up to 10 seconds, we know that from Bucciaratis fight with him. She didnt even begin cleaning his room, Boss just grabbed everything and scurried off within the 10 second time frame. Remember that when time is erased noone has memories of what happaned in the 10 seconds other then the boss, so thats why she was confused.

The best way I've heard it described was that King Crimson basically edits video. It cuts out the parts it doesn't want and can also change things within that time and then stitch the rest of the video together. It's disorienting to those who experiences it

King Crimson's ability does not move time forward; he erases time. Time is moving at a usual pace. Everyone forgets what happens when his ability is activated. It's more like global amnesia, and only the boss is aware of what is happening
