I really appreciate when you go into depth about thinking about your mortality and all that. My family has a very matter of fact way of talking/thinking about death to the point where everyone already knows what they're getting from the will, so its really nice hearing other perspectives and using that to find new ways of thinking about the loved ones I've lost. I think my family makes it sound more transactional because we aren't very good with emotions lol

Just need to be in the right "mood" for it. I appreciate how open you are and when I do listen to it I just can't help but feel for you. I have loved all of your reactions for season 4 especially. You did just fine these 2 episodes, I loved hearing you talk about the shot composition the previous episode too. Wishing you the best.

2023-04-30 08:33:50 +0000 UTCSo since we saw Niccolo this episode, I have a fun fact to share about Sasha's last words. It's actually a bit ambiguous in Japanese what her last words are. It sounds like she's saying "niku (肉)," which is Japanese for "meat," but that sound is also similar to how you pronounce the first part of Niccolo's name in Japanese, "Nikoro (ニコロ)." "Niku" is meat, but if her last words trailed off before she could complete "Nikoro" it would have still sounded like "niku" because Japanese doesn't typically end on consonant sounds that aren't "n," so if what she wanted to say was "Nikoro" but could only say the "Nik" part of it, it would probably come out as "Niku"

(Sorry if this is out of turn) My "main line" family is almost the opposite but my grandmother has almost the same tradition. As a kid I was always so confused on why we did some things for half our family, but I eventually got it.
