Attack on Titan 4x15

HIS PAST! He's just a baby!!

Attack on Titan 4x15

Comments

Fun fact, young Zeke has the same VA as Deku from mha, it hit me like a bat when I first watched it being animated. Daiki Yamashita really has a good voice for a cinnamon roll like young Zeke

Kae Juneau

That's why it was such a dumb move. He already had him down and out, but then gave him pretty much the only weapon he could take levi out with and stood around close to it. Only a fool would assume a guy you're taking away to be executed wouldn't choose to gamble on something that there's a chance they could survive, will take you out and at worse give them a quick death.

Eddy

Zeke was already weak from being a Titan and ripped out, and he was being weakened even more from pain. That was the play. Very simple. Levi’s miscalculation was that he didn’t expect Zeke to be willing to die in that moment. He says so later on.

GraffitiTurtle

Alicia properly educating us on how to brainwash our children! Lmao

Russell Gambardella

Why would he stand right next to the person he's rigged with explosives and given the trigger to, and who's survived similar explosions before? He already had a method to stop him transforming. I just feel three could have been a better way of having Zeke escape without having levi make such an uncharacteristically dumb decision.

Eddy

Why would he have any reason to believe Zeke, who had this perfect plan with Eren that was in the works for quite a while and depended on meeting him to fulfill his lifelong goal, would kill himself? It was just an extra precaution that turned out to be the wrong thing to do.

Puige Hanovo

Im sorry Alicia but that parenting sounds bad. But you have more experience than me so you know some things better.

Vissarionas Mylonas

I lose my shit laughing every time I see that one titan running through the forest.

Sneaky_Arachnid

You cant get a Gold medal for guessing they were brothers due to originally thinking Zeke was Erwins Dad. Lmao

Yahroh

That would be too cruel, at least let them bone if they're going to extinct smh

James Decker

Season 2, rest is correct though.

James Decker

I never really understood this play other than being a huge plot convenience. I don't imagine it would be terribly hard for him to make a stop every 6 hours to cut off his limbs to stop him from doing anything.

James Decker

Just to clarify, the opening for Season 4 part 2 shouldn't be watched until after the episode "Thaw". I believe that is episode 22.

Nathan Mathews

If you ask me I think Eren is probably calling cap on Zeke's plan. It seems too... Dark, maybe in a way he sympathizes with Zeke but I feel like Eren has a better idea that he needs to cooperate with Zeke for. If you think about it if they do sync up and Eren has full control of the founding Titan then it's not like Zeke can really stop him if he does something else other than euthanizeation. But that's just MY crackhead theory and maybe Eren does want to turn eldeans into ken and barbie dolls lol

Stay strong and take your time

Don’t worry, your Patreon homies gotchu 💪🏻

Small detail with the Mr. Ksava flashback, on that bookcase there is the Ram plush toy. Well when we saw baby zeke way back when he was playing with a monkey! It has been confirmed that Ksava's beast titan was that of a Ram (i like to think that its because his sons favorite animal was sheep)

Xankoshu

Well, Isayama was planning to kill Sasha off in season 1 while saving that girl, but his editor convinced him to keep her alive. So, you had the right idea with your death prediction!

Tempered Glasses

Well that was a dumb ass plan by Levi. I hope your rule is right and they're both ok, can't wait for the next one

Eddy

dont forget being entirely wrong about grisha still being alive

mitchhamilton64

Lmao that's just narcissistic abuse.

Lotus Gramarye

Grisha and Dina were never bad parents. They never were. Yes, they didn't ask Zeke how he felt or spent as much time with him to play or spend as family. This I can agree with. They were both just so busy restoring Eldia and devoted themselves to the cause they believed in. They used Zeke as a tool of war or revenge, not knowing how it was affecting him. Dumping a lot on a kid who only wanted his parents affection. If they could tell Zeke how much they loved him, I bet they would. And that's even clearer in Part 2 of the Final Season. Grisha lost his sister when they were young and saw how cruel the world really was. It's really sad what happened to Grisha.

SHOCK

Thanks for the episode

TrinitytheApostle

There are injuries people can't handle, anything to do with eyes or nails I can't handle.

Razgar_dar

I laughed out loud XD

Can Arabacıoğlu

Zeke was right

Andrew

Remember way back in season 1, battle for Trost when Eren transformed to carry the bolder but couldn't control it? Remember Armin getting through to him in his dream world and asking him why he wanted to go outside the walls? Do you remember his answer? "Because I was born into this world". And now, everyone is saying "If only we hadn't been born into this world". Really interesting to me at least to think about that contrast between then and now.

Bob

something unrelated to AoT. I dunno if you've ever heard of Secondlife, I know there's an event going on there called Fantasy Fairelands. Partnered with Relay for Life. A multi sim spanning event that'll go through this weekend and end 5/7. All to raise money for research to find the cure. They wanna make it bigger every year. and you know we'll all say prioritize your own health and comfort over entertaining us with your reactions.

Adriborte

Praise be monke

Reqorium

They were definitely shit parents though. Just because you arent doing the absolute worst shit you could do, doesnt make you good, decent or even acceptable. They got a very clear F, or a -2 on the scale we grade performances in over here.

Miklar Sihn

Also honestly I don't think his parents were that bad... like they never even implied that they beat him or anything there are much worse things that could happen to a child

BornUnMotivated

I think you're going about it the wrong way, they weren't trying to manipulate him they wanted to show him the world they live in. They full heartedly are devoted to their cause. They completely believe in what they're doing they probably couldn't even comprehend that he wouldn't see the world their way because it's all they know grisha lost his purity once his sister died he no longer could even put himself in the thought process of a child he just wanted revenge. He only has a moment of clarity when he thinks his life is over and he realizes he messed up. As fucked as it is to say that a manipulator is a rational person in this context he was anything but rational, you would need to be rational to some extent at least to manipulate someone. P.s love your reactions even when I disagree with some things you say you're always explaining your thought process and are very entertaining

BornUnMotivated

Zeke and Eren are wrong, the true salvation is returning to monke

Cat Punch Man

Yeah, he's also standing next to his grnadparents in the scene where Grisha and Dina get reported.

James Decker

"Manipulate your child better, you dumb shit." Omg Alicia xD

Zael

Alicia misunderstood, both his parents AND grand parents were forcing their views on him, the only one who actually cared about him was Mr. Ksaver.

James Decker

Fun fact we actually first see Xsaver in the Grisha flashback in the season 3 episode 19 end credits scene, Grisha and Faye ran into him while chasing the Blimp/Airship and he tells them to watch it.

Trey Goldsworthy

GOLD MEDAL for Guessing Alicia :D
