Being bisexual doesn't exclude trans people. Hell being just straight or gay doesn't exclude trans people, we aren't a seperate gender, we are just a type of a gender, me and my boyfriend are bi and here we are. My bisexuality includes literally all genders out there. The difference between pan and bi is that Pansexuals have no gender preference at all while bisexuals do have a preference between the multiple genders they like (it can range from 2 to literally however)

Belive the thing with the subs on netflix isnt nitpicky at all, they straight up mess up stand power descriptions, the proper emotions in a scene, and the stand names (once again its not about the copyright, they literally just switchup who has which stand). Alicia please ignore this part of the message as it contains kinda spoilers, this is for the comments In the final battle the netflix subs literally say that GER is called Chariot Req, thats such a major fuck up

on the bi/pan thing: no one really uses Bi to mean "excluding trans people" and no one really uses pan to mean "including trans people." In fact, those exact distinctions can feel discriminatory to trans people because you're implying that trans women and men aren't included in the category of women and men, respectably. So yes, most people just use bi/pan interchangeably. There's lots of different labels that cover most or all of the same subjects, so however people identify is good enough for me! I don't look into it if someone uses one or the other.

Pole dancer: if I had a nickel for everytime I've encountered an enemy with a time-based stand on some stairs, I would have two nickels, which isn't much, but it's weird it happened twice (also the symbolism, pole dancer walking up the stairs to fight dio (dio means God in Italian), while diavolo ascending up the stairs (diavolo is devil in Italian))

I held myself back from commenting this before this point, but with Giorno being the son of Dio and Dio being Italian for god that makes Giorno a Jesus allegory. Buccelati is Lazarus. Who would be the best enemy for a Jesus allegory? I think Araki was trying to pose the question: Does someone with multiple personalities have multiple souls and therefore multiple stands? If someone with multiple souls/personalities gets possessed by the Devil, what is the result? Does the Devil only get control of one of the personalities? Can it exude its influence over the others? Edit to add: I love the imagery of Polnareff having to ascend the stairs in Part 3 towards Dio (God) and looking down the stairs in Part 5 towards Diavolo (The Devil) Edit 2: Oh, I also forgot. The allegory is the perfect payoff for what N'Doul (water stand user) said in Part 3. "The wicked need a wicked messiah."

One thing I love about the scene with Polnareff and Diavolo is the parallels between it and the meeting with Dio. It is fully intentional by the way, with Dio's name being God in Italian and Diavolo being Devil. So when Polnareff met Dio he was trying to ascend up the stairs to 'heaven' where 'God' was, while here the 'Devil' is ascending from 'hell' to Polnareff.
