this second op didnt do it for me either to begin with, but after watching the rest of the show i cant even hear the song without crying at least a little. hope that one day you'll be able to do more reactions and finish the series, as it only gets even better from here ^^

Second OP caught me so off guard the first time I saw it. I was expecting a chill vibe and got a kingdom hearts opening. I still think it's one of the best OPs.

I also had a bad first impression of the second OP just because it wasn't OP 1. After the second time seeing it though, I actually liked it more than the first.

opening 2 is literally one of my favourite op ever, every single scene has a meaning, even those you might think are there just to fill in or are clichè anime opening scenes, every shot represents something in the series, and the song is a banger

Oh geez I gotta comment about the opening before watching the whole reaction. SO. Opening 2 is what originally got me into watching Ranking of Kings. While it’s not as mellow as the first opening I do think it fits super well. The lyrics especially are important in that regard. That being said my dumb shonen rotted brain loves any opening that has the progression that this one does so maybe that’s why. 😅

Compared to the first opening, how does the second one stack up for you? Cause it caught me off guard in the best way possible. This opening has made me cry so many times watching it. This one and Made in Abyss are the only anime that have made me cry with their openings.
