On the note of Todoroki’s parents, someone on Reddit posted this about their marriage and having children: “Endeavor coerced Rei through a combination of emotional abuse and guilt, which is less violent but absolutely still not consensual.” This was implied in this episode and a few episodes ago when Todoroki talked about his mom. I don’t know about other people, but I can never bring myself even to begin to understand a guy like that. He disgusts me.

Also, at the end, Deku is probably dead or dying. He didn't hit that wall at a low speed. They really should rush him to the ER since recovery girl might have a hard time stabilizing him following an impact that would normally be fatal.

The point wasn’t to diminish Endeavors abuse or coddle him, but rather 2 point out his depth as a character who has more sides to him other than a strictly black or white character. “He’s not a bad guy” doesn’t mean he’s a good guy xP just that he’s not fully evil. He’s capable of doing good too, like putting his wife into therapy. It’s his moral grayness what makes him a good antagonist.

I'm not 100% sure but I think that's who they are, the implication being that they're children who did not get the perfect genetic mix of ice and fire powers like Shoto did. "Failed experiments" if you want to be really dark about it. Again, not entirely sure, just the assumption I had that I never really questioned.

I can never get past two or three episodes before I lose interest. Not hating, I'm sure it's a quality show, I guess it's just not for me.
