Stain's conviction to not just save someone he claimed was on the right path but also to shake everyone else is amazing, villain or not. That flying Nomu picked up Deku for a reason and it's heartbreaking and equally as messed up. *I forgot to add that Horikoshi put this info in extra pages at the end of chapters at some point.

2023-06-28 16:22:35 +0000 UTCFelt like it worth adding something in here now, but it's never brought up in the anime but the manga has interesting details shared about the mangaka in-between chapters. Usually Horikoshi just puts a drawing of characters in like casual attire and gives a little bit of creator details behind them. He also tends to add in anything he felt is relevant like costume designs in detail or maps of an area or the science behind certain quirks and stuff. But in Volume 7 between chapter 56 and 57 he adds in something interesting that really got people theorizing for the series. The volume is one covering a bit of Stain arc and a few chapters of the upcoming arc so I understand if you won't look into it yet but just thought I'd share cuz there's plenty of manga only content that wasn't brought over.

2023-06-28 06:12:44 +0000 UTCJust to clear up, Stain wasn't taking Midoriya hostage, he was rescuing him. He had already stated in the previous episode that he thought Midoriya was "worth keeping alive" meaning he thinks Midoriya is on the "correct" path to becoming a "true hero" in his eyes.
