Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Episode 24

I'm going to take a nap. I cried too hard

Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Episode 24

Comments

It's been over two years since this amazing came to an end, do you have any plans on watching the new gundam in April this year? It looks like it might have lesbians on main again but it's still too early to know for sure.

If you need more in the genre of "Cute girls being gay and doing cool stuff", I'd suggest Lycoris Recoil. More sweet gaybies for you to adopt.

It's incredibly touching to me that the final power-up for Suletta was not one that allowed her to just demolish the entire fleet with a storm of lasers, but one that ended the conflict on a grand scale with not a single death to her enemies. It goes back around to the whole idea that they started from, about building tech that was used for healing and helping others, not for killing; and even if some might be disappointed to not see a destructive montage, I think it's an incredible way to use that goal to end the final battle.

Ace of Blades

I for one was happy to see a happy ending. It is far to common for modern stories to always go for the downer ending to seem more mature or "Realistic". If I watched shows for just drama and pain then I would spend my time watching the news instead of anime.

KnightOfThePeople

You were probably crying too hard to see it properly but... When Suletta and Miorine wave to each other? They had rings. Definitely wearing rings.

More of a second cour, not season.

Wonderful Reaction. Thank You For The Video.

So on the scale of Gundam endings for happiness this would be in the range of 65% to 75%, and while it left their world for that one a lot more open ended than some of the others (particularly looking at you wing...you know what you did!) I'd say that the WFM setting can still tell plenty of stories that would have perhaps as good of a range, if not better, for what can be told than the OG Universal Century it's sadly probably going to be left abandoned.

While a fun series, it did ultimately fall a bit short for me. The ending especially felt very rushed and kind of put a damper on what was originally a very good run. Though that isn’t to take away from anyone else’s enjoyment of the show, it just wasn’t to my tastes. While I’m glad to see you continuing the Gundam reactions with Iron Blooded Orphans, I’d honestly recommend going for some of the older stuff as well. Not necessarily the full series but the OVA’s like 8th MS Team, and 0080 War in the Pocket especially. They are very powerful stories.

I think this ending was beautiful. Where everyone expected conflict and death to bring about a better world, the writers instead gave us one where bonds, family or otherwise, and self sacrifice are what brought about this better world. This show taught us to expect the worst horrors, but instead they gave us moving sentiments. Truly, it was The Witch From Mercury's final betrayal of our trust and expectations. And I could not be more happy. I certainly hope that the implications that this is the end of "The Witch From Mercury" story and there will be other stories from this universe is the correct one. I think that is what they meant to convey, but hey... not like I can trust them 😌 Gundam has been an important part of me since my childhood. And I am glad that as an adult they continue to release such enjoyable journeys. Thank you Alicia and everyone on here and YouTube who have made it this far and given it a chance. I normally felt alone watching Gundam because no one I know really wanted to give any of them a proper chance. But watching your reactions and reading these comments, I didn't feel alone this time. I meant this to be shorter, but I guess this finale brought on a lot of emotions. Tldr: I enjoyed the ending. And thank you everyone!

By the way, the last sentence of the first opening could translate to "May all blessing find their way to you, I'm wishing it ", like the title of this episode. I love that we finish with what we started

Sylumgar

Iron blooded orphans is next. Can’t wait for those reactions that one is a ride I personally enjoyed it a bit more then witch from mercury but both are peak Gundam in my eyes.

Brandon Rodriguez

"There's no season 2?"- said upon finishing season 2. Loved the series and can't wait for your iron blooded orphans reaction. Keep up the great work!

Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly are just Chris and Sween but rich and white

Listening to you talk about building all your Gundams makes me so happy. I've been a huge Gundam fan for a very very long time, and just knowing that more people are getting into the genre makes me happy, especially with building Gundams. Once you make one, you can never go back. You need to make more

Zael

To quote another great gundam series “peace cannot be kept by force it can only be achieved by understanding”

It's impossible to clip audio levels if you normalize audio, since normalizing automatically puts the audio into the max level it can be at without clipping. That's what normalizing does :P

AtlasRedux

Oooo thank you for that final note! And yeah :3 either way I’m just happy they are together and in love

aliciaxlife

Oh weird people complained about how my audio was clipping when I raised it so I only raise it to thresholds that don’t distort the quality.

aliciaxlife

Thanks for the episode

TrinitytheApostle

Really wish you would normalize your audiolevels before you upload. I have to crank up my studio speakers to level 22 to hear you normally, while all other here and on YouTube from other creators are at level 12 (as they should) . Which means every time I get a notification when watching your videos, it scares the crap out of me.

AtlasRedux

I'm sad it's over but I'm glad they have a happy ending... I'm torn... It could definitely have used at least an extra episode just to show a little more of how the world is but here's hoping there's like an OVA later..

Rayne

it was mice to see the wedding confirmed with the rings and Ericht saying "you should hear to your sister in law" but a kiss or thr wedding itself would have been nice to see Alea iacta est means the dice have rolled - it was said by Ceasar while crossing the Rubicon starting the Civil War

Sven Hegenbart

hey alicia , other than ibo i recommend gundam 00. it has 2 seasons and a movie. highly recommended series.

the_dood_999

Did you notice the wedding rings

spikeseagull
