I love the crackhead theories about future stuff, but crackheading about things that are proven wrong in the past episodes just... hurts. It sounds like when toxic people try to gaslight you about someone else. I hope she stops shit talking the detective soon, because I keep having to skip it every time she does it. It's too close to how some people I know behave in real life that it gives me anxiety. Other than that, nothing wrong with crackhead theories. Just... the gaslighting is getting too real sometimes.

2023-07-15 05:36:39 +0000 UTCI think part of the problem is that you have people commenting negatively on Bakugo when they watch season 1, but the criticisms seem unreasonable to people who've seen a few more seasons and can clearly see his development. In that context, it's like people commenting on two completely different characters. I see a similar thing happening with the Wheel of Time community: the series is 14 long-ass novels, and people will start judging characters very reasonably based on their behavior in the first few books, only for people who've already finished the series to react with vitriol. Also very similar to Alicia and Ant not liking Jotaro immediately, and getting shit from people who've already seen the whole series--"How dare you judge the character based on the information presented to you instead of waiting 70 episodes to form an opinion!"

I love a well written character but doesn't mean I have to like or condone what the character does appreciate how well they are handled by the creator. Bakugo is more than just his bullying, and we learn why he is the way he is even though we don't have to condone him acting out towards Deku they way he does and we learn that it is a byproduct of his insecurities and his drive to be a hero like All Might even though he only sees him for his strength. He is a product of to much ego inflation at an early age and it shows.

Up until including S06, its delivering like hell. And S06 seems like its giong to and end. S07 is as I know the last Season. So lets looking forwards this hell a lot fun that is coming for you :)

There's a strong indication those other kids in the flashback were Shoto's older siblings based on the hair as you've mentioned, and his mom in the flashback did mention the word "children" on the phone, meaning there are more than one. So yeah, even without spoilers it's safe to say Shoto isn't endeavor's first "attempt". We will eventually learn more about this family, but I will not elaborate for obvious reasons. Good eye though, I know you're self-conscious about your crack theories but don't be. Say whatever crap comes to mind, we don't care, we love hearing your perspective and thoughts. They may not always be right of course, but we all wanna hear them anyway, ignore all the nay-sayers. You're right about a SHOCKING number of things in a shocking number of shows I've seen you react to. I can't count how many Mob Psycho plot points you outright guessed before they happened. Sure you don't land a home run every swing, but girl do you swing good, you swing hard, and you swing often, and If I'm watching baseball I don't wanna watch the batter just sit there until he gets something easy to hit, I wanna see him swing.

Also you have to consider that the first 5 seasons is still during their first year of school. How much did you grow emotionally during one school year?

The opening spoils the existence of two villain's in the first arch of the season, and foretells a major event in the second arc but one I feel like you know is coming just as everyone else, so your call if that's enough to keep skipping after you've been introduced to all the villains in the first arc.

My only complaint is that sometimes it feels like the show actually does more development for him and other side characters then Deku. I like Deku as a protagonist and the way he is adorably flawed makes him interesting, but every time a major arc ends it often feels like the other characters develop emotionally but Deku just power scales up.
