It's taken me until this episode to realize that they've added the extra fucks into this version. I specifically remember watching this on TV and Lucy saying "you are going to make love to me in that car" not "fuck me in that car" I don't mind this but why would they go through the trouble if they were just going to bleep it out anyway.

Every character in this series has good and bad elements as well as damage from past trauma. It sort of mirrors real life people.

What we know for sure, he was by the standards of his time pretty anti-slavery on a personal level, and also mixed that into his political goals (arguably as a means of leveraging political power moreso than any moral good, but the two coincide so it doesn't matter that much in the end).

I don't even think it would be a worry in either of their minds with how codependent they are on each other. No real possibility of any actual cheating happening in that relationship.

Personally, I wouldn’t say Jerry was “emotionally cheating” because he wanted to be with Beth and she flat out said “Nah bro, miss me with that mess. I’d rather you take this rando while I spend the time solo.”

I don't know if you were making a joke while saying that, but if you are throwing any shade at Lincoln, it would need to be for a different reason
