I believe that the traitor was actually set up to be Tsukauchi or Vlad but then Horikoshi just dropped that subplot/forgot about it so now we will never know. I had my own theory at the time, but I will save it for later

You're starting off pretty badly yourself for implying people are simply "buying into the hype blindly" because they don't agree with you. And nothing about heroes not acting like heroes makes the arc worse. Also hilarious you tell others not to start when you declare you'll go in depth about your own perspective that nobody asked for.

There's no correct interpretation Alica's interpretation is perfectly valid and I agree with it. Also his actions don't agree with your interpretation even when he says the opposite, his actions don't. So he's not changing "instantly", he's gradually changed throughout the seasons.

Essentially, All Might's full strength is Deku's starting line. Each person who holds the power works to grow themselves as much as possible, and then kick it off down to the next person who takes it as far as they can. Deku is holder #9 of One For All.

I think I know what rubs you the wrong way, it's probably the same thing my boyfriend disliked (don't want to spoil anything so won't say what it is). He stopped watching because of it, but I still enjoy the show regardless. To each their own 🤷

I feel like I cant even really discuss this without going into spoiler territory, so I'm not going to. But I will say it is a very valid observation that a lot of heroes aren't really acting like heroes... and I'm pretty sure it's intentional. I don't think that makes the episodes worse, however. In fact I love that ideological tension.

Welcome to the start of the theory time of the fandom where people were looking any characters that could be the UA traitor. It was something that wasn't limited to just the teachers so plenty of the students were suspected by the fandom with people pouring over the manga to look for any clues or details Horikoshi left behind between chapters. There's a handful of suspected characters I could bring up but to not accidentally spoil in anyway or ruin the fun I'll let you dwell on the topic.

My theory is that because Deku is the newest one for all holder, he theoretically is stronger than all might, but when he puts 100% he is as strong as all might because that's what he envisions.

Appreciate all the work you do and how awesome all your reactions are! I also agree with your thoughts on who the best choice for a traitor would be, at this point the principal was my number one suspect for who it might be, assuming there was actually one and it wasn't just a case of All For One having some broken quirks that could let him listen in on their meetings or something without them knowing it.

Yeah, I'm going more into depth in the next couple episodes, but, unpopular opinion, this is where the show really starts rubbing me the wrong way. which is a shame, given the great potential it had in the beginning.
