I'm sure it was explained to you before, but oda does this thing, where he uses the cover artwork for several chapters at a time to tell these little mini-stories, detailing what happened to some of the other people the strawhats met during their travels. this is one of those stories. Why even do pointless filler, when you just could do more stuff like this instead and simply animate more of these mini-arcs? *sigh* I just don't understand corporate mindsets.
