Not just a princess, Vivi is sixteen here. They shot a sixteen year old girl in the back. Granted, it wasn't malicious, but she was shot by someone who's lack of nerve should have excluded him from being on the front lines to aim a gun at a ship that the town was trying to send away, rather than allow things to escalate to combat.

Of course, that's because she's sick and not really Luffy's fault, but still.

I could recognize during the episode she got sick she sounded exactly like Ran Mouri from Detective Conan (another series with over 1000 chapters/episodes). Which other connection to the series, Usopp's (Soup) voice actor does one of the main characters of that series Shinichi Kudo. (The adult version of Conan Edogawa, or I guess the other way around) As to why this voice substitute happened, Nami's voice actor was given time off after having a baby.
