But the ending here makes up for everything that wasn't great before. It's a perfect bookend to a truly bizarre adventure and I cannot wait for part 7 to get animated so Ant can be accused of more stupid pre watching. What a wonderful world indeed.

I watched every episode as soon as you released them, ever since you started the series I was looking forward to this moment, and now the time has come. I hope you both enjoyed the series, Part 6 is honestly one of the more underrated and underappreciated parts. Everyone remembers 6 for the ending, which yes it's perfect, but I really like the whole part, more than the average JoJo fan. I also think Pucci is the best villain in JoJo, even topping Kira for me slightly. Part of me kinda wanted Pucci to win not gonna lie lmao, but he still went out with a bang as he killed the whole main cast besides Emporio. While the new universe counterparts have the same souls, they are not the same people we knew. So even if Pucci lost at the end, he still went out with a high body count, and ultimately fulfilled Dio's wish to a certain degree. But the ending is beautiful, neither Pucci or the Joestars won per say, rather fate happened and everything canceled out and moves forward. Thus ending the original storyline of a generation of Joestars and Dio's influence, it all comes to a close in a beautiful way. All my rambling aside I just wanna thank you both, Ant and Alicia for watching the whole series. Y'alls reactions and energy through it all was great, even if I diagree with some of y'alls takes, the passion and love for the series as a whole was perfect. And I enjoyed and savored every moment. So thank you both very much 💖. We should be getting more JoJo anime in the coming few years, and I am eagerly waiting for that moment to come, for both y'all and me alike.

2023-08-15 01:09:11 +0000 UTCHere's as simple and straightforward of an explanation for this ending as I could muster. -Pucci uses made in heaven to accelerate to the next universe -Pucci stops just before cape canaveral to kill Emporio -Pucci dies to Emporio -Having not gotten to cape canaveral, and having not totally completed the loop as a result, Made in Heaven's power collapses. -A third and final universe is created (or everyone was sent back to the original one.) -Pucci's soul obviously couldn't make it due to the circumstances, so he was wiped from existence and history, resulting in part 6 never happening -Anything Pucci affected is changed due to his abscence. Parts 1-5 go the same, except DIO's diary is burnt and the joestar curse ends with Giorno. -The stone ocean cast you see at the end have their original souls, but their lives have obviously gone far differently without Pucci's influence. -Stone Ocean leading into the next parts is a misconception. Parts 7-9 are a reboot in a completely new continuity, and have no relation to parts 1-6.

2023-08-15 00:21:00 +0000 UTCWell in all intents and purposes it was a happy ending. The Joestar curse was ended, after DIO died in part 3, as Pucci doesnt exist here anymore. Which means that there is no need for a "JOJO" anymore. Thats why Jolynes new name is "Irene". Everything still happened the same, up until 2011, so Jotaro would still be Jotaro, Josuke would still be Josuke etc. The only people whos lives have changed for the better are the part 6 cast. Pucci had something to do with all of them ending in jail, and their lives being fucked. Without a Pucci, their lives were happy. None of them went to jail, and they are still all fated to meet in the end. It was a truly happy ending for all of them. They might not remember part 6 (only Emporio does), but they are still fated to meet and be friends like we saw at the end. So while yes its the end for US, as we dont get to see their adventures anymore (except Rohan, we still see him in the "thus spoke Kishibe Rohan" series which does take place AFTER part 6), we know their bizzare adventure continues onwards. just without us, the viewer, as the Joestar DIO curse is now over for good. And with that happy end, part 7 is a great new start of an entirely new universe and its the best part by far. Part 7 animated is gonna explode the internet

I said this at the start of this series, but I was reading this part leading up to my trial date for cannabis use and I was so desperate for them to get out, but it was also some of my only escapism so I had to keep reading. It's just not fun to be in a prison, it limits the freedom of what the characters can do, where they can go, what types of characters we can see. It's interesting for an arc or two but yeah, it's unfortunate the middle part is so boring. And FF isn't even there at the end ;;-;; Overall Emporio V Pucci was one of the best confrontations in the entire series so the last few episodes definitely are the highlight. I'm glad Ant came along on the bizarre adventure, grats on the PB! I know you don't wanna hang around but I hope we can wrangle you back in eventually for something else (jkjk it's always up to you <3) ANyway, this has been such an awesome journey to experience with you guys and I'm glad you had fun! Here's to future adventures!

2023-08-14 10:31:36 +0000 UTCIt's okay, I'm not offended. :) I think what I enjoyed the most about these 6 parts is the fact that we came to know these characters and see some of them cross over from one part to the other. We could see how they affected the world and how the whole 6 parts worked almost as one big story through time. I think that the attachment to these characters and specifically that universe, is what makes me feel that way and I didn't want it to come to an end. I don't have a single doubt in my mind that part 7 or 8 or even 9 are good parts, maybe even best parts, but they aren't the same to me since that attachment and lore, if you will, is gone (from what I can understand). I would understand maybe continuing on in the same universe, with JoJo's being dead but since everything is gone, I don't really feel attached to it. I don't see why I should care about the part 7 universe or any other new part universe. I mean if they do come out, I'll obviously give it a try but it's not really something I am hyped for or look forward to. To me this particular journey is over with this universe.

2023-08-14 08:04:59 +0000 UTCSo the ending is kind of vague on what exactly happened so I'll give a breakdown: pucci had made in heaven activated when he died so time acceleration continued, people who die during made in heaven don't pass over the new universe, so the new universe was a universe where pucci never existed, everything from parts 1 to 5 happened the same way as the original, it's only part 6 that changed, Pucci doesn't exists and everyone got better lifes, jotaro could stay with his family since dio's influence ended with him, ermes' sister never died, anasui (now anakiss - I'll explain that in a sec) never killed anyone, weather report didn't had a brother so he wasn't stolen at birth, and jolyne (now Irene) had a present father in her life, they are different people now but have the same souls, specifically jolyne is now irene because she's no longer a JoJo, (this was explained in external material) every champion of the Joestar bloodline chosen by destiny to fight evil is called JoJo, this is known as the Joestar curse, but since with pucci gone there's no longer any evil that defies destiny, there's no longer the need for a JoJo so she got named Irene cujoh at birth: no longer a JoJo, now to avoid any confusion, this is effectively the end of the story, parts 1 to 6 are known as "the stone mask saga" parts 7 to 9 have nothing to do with the previous parts and are set in a completely separate universe, this is the conclusion of Jonathan's bloodline story, what follows is something entirely new

He really just wanted himself to see and accept his own fate thus he gains the peace of mind he desired and wouldn't have to worry about the future.

It subverted expectations, was intense and emotional, and had a satisfying ending. It all came back in a roundabout way as Ant said. It’s pretty bittersweet, cause Jotaro and jolyne did all die in the old universe but in this new universe they all live happy lives. So they sacrificed themselves here but fortunately that meant their new universe counterparts are able to live good lives. This new universe is the same as the old except pucci doesn’t exist in it since he died, so part 6 never happened. Parts 1 - 5 still happened so Dio still lost to Jotaro and he also still fought Kira. So Irene and her friends have the exact same souls as jolyne but they lived far better lives due to pucci being gone. Since pucci was like the 2nd in command to Dio, he was sending stand assassins against Jotaro. But now since pucci doesn’t exist, Jotaro never had to divorce his wife and leave Jolyne. He was now able to live a happy life with his family without fear of being attacked by stand users. Since jolyne had a father figure this time in her life, she was raised in a much happier environment which led her to get a good boyfriend like Anasui, so no Romeo. And obviously Anasui never became a murderer this time since Jolyne never cheated on him and they have a good relationship. Hermes’ sister is still alive so I assume pucci had some sort of indirect connection to her death, maybe he sent sports maximum to that area in the previous universe which led to her sisters death. But Hermes never needed to go to prison now since she never needed to avenge her sister. And weather was also able to live a good life, since his brother pretty much fucked his life up. I assume weather never got stolen as a baby, since he didn’t have a twin this time so the woman didn’t bother swapping her baby. So he probably grew up with his sister which hopefully means they didn’t date lol. Oh and one more cool detail is that Jolyne no longer has Jo in her name so she’s not a jojo anymore. It’s pretty significant cause it shows us that she’s not fated to fight an enemy this time like all previous Jojo. Sorry for the long walls of text, but it’s always fun to talk about this parts finale since I love it. Thanks for the great reactions guys, I loved the Jojos journey🥹

This episode is soo cool and satisfying. I find it so badass that despite being killed, Jolyne left her mark on Pucci in the other world. Landed a hit while being at an extreme disadvantage. ALSO wanna say... Jolyne stayed true to her word, never masturbated til the day she died lmaoo. So in a sense, her death was a W in many ways, sacrificed herself to save Emporio, who ends up killing Pucci. Wasn't afraid of going into a losing fight, all of this being why Jolyne is my favorite Jojo next to Jotaro

So you may see characters with similar names to previous characters or stands that are similar to stands you've seen in the past. Also, the universe we see at the end of this episode isn't the universe we see in parts 7-9 it's a separate universe. I also wanted to add that Ant was cooking.
