PLEASE DEAR GOD WATCH THE SCENE! I talked about how Iris is justified to be mean because she feels like someone is entering into the same role and job that she trained hard for. She feels jealousy so she is being judgmental.
THEN WHAT I DID IS RELATE IT BACK TO MY ORIGINAL DISCUSSION OF ERICA HOLY SHIT PLEASE! I can't tell if people are skipping through the reaction and missed my original Erica rant but the point was I was comparing Iris to Erica. And bringing back the point of her original impression of Violet.
My issue was how Erica's bitciness is SUPER covert.. She will mumble things at violet and say underhanded comments. VS Iris who will have ha loud open discussion about what pisses her off. I thought about not writing this but it makes me realize I can't do any emotionally heavy series where I discuss and relate back to characters without people going into waifu defense mode. If your comment was deleted, it's cause reading it bothered me. IF you are someone who just didn't realize I was relating Iris back to erica even though the scene was focused on Iris' words then it's all good. I don't know what else to do to. This is the only thing that ever burns me out.
Also if I deal with this dumb shit one more time I'm dropping it. I KNOW Iris was the one saying it. That was the point of me comparing Erica because her type of fuck shit is different. WHICH DIRECTLY related to my rant.

While it is completely up to her in the end whether to watch the show or not because of the idiots in the comments, her dropping the show means everyone loses including Alicia. Also while some comments go too far I believe having different opinions and talking about them is part of reacting too. There should never be a situation where everyone gets blocked out for simply having a difference in opinion. Only when they take that opinion too far.

This is anime means so much to me and I hope you can continue to appreciate it. Hopefully the idiots haven't stained this anime for you permanently. Everything you said more or less hit the nail on the head for the first two episodes.

It's similar in that it's about a young girl's journey of self-reflection with some different themes, and it's a fantasy story. You might enjoy it after you finish Violet Evergarden.
