It's been a hot second since this dropped but I do want to say, even you were prejudiced against those who had unsightly/seemingly useless quirks (Mineta's Pop Off, Shoji's dupliarms, Ojiro's Tail, Jiro's Earphone Jack, Shinso's Brainwashing). And like another comment said, the villain's aren't 'just being edgy' when they say they 'don't fit into society,' the show is trying to hammer in how this prejudice actually messes with people's lives. Like Twice said as well, 'Heroes don't save crazy people.' (Which is also a facet of how actually borked hero society is, and why so many people in the show can get behind Stain's ideology)

It goes deeper than that, so they're not just being edgy saying stuff like they don't fit into society.
