This is a part of the game series. Richter Belmont is the great great grandson of Trevor Belmont about 200 years later. The games he is in is Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night. I think he’s the great grandson of Simon Belmont.

2023-10-01 03:29:19 +0000 UTCIdk if you have figured it out by now, but just in case I will explain. So basically this takes place around 300 years after the first Castlevania series. THat one took place in the late 1400s where as this one takes place in the late 1700s during the french revolution, so Julia isn't sypha and trevors daughter shes their like seven times great-granddaughter and Richter is like their 8 times great grandson. So while some things will be mentioned it is very much its own self-contained story from the original series.
