The best way to counter it I have found is to instantly as fast as you can reply to the first thing they sent and say "Sorry I couldn't respond earlier got distracted" or something to that effect, making it an unlikely coincidence instead of weird.

She had to leave to go to the moon but gave the man she loved an immortality potion. In the story the man burned it unwilling to exist in a world without his beloved, but Shirogane said if it were him he would drink it and one day bring the princess back, even if it took a thousand years. In this ending, Shirogane is holding the potion and shown drinking it, and lives all the way from the WW2 era he was in with Kaguya in the prior endings to the distant future where mankind has advanced enough to reach Kaguya and bring her back.
