FMA Brotherhood has a better 2nd half and ending of its series, than FMA (original).
But I hope you watch at least the first 3/4 of og FMA after this. That version of hte series has a lot of dialogue and scenes that are missing from Brotherhood with the early story arcs (that it retells in Brotherhood).
The scene transitions in Brotherhood are more "jagged" and jumpier, with lots of context and interactions between the Elric Brothers and their Mom, Winry, Nina, and lots of other characters completely cut out.
They completely fucked up the first conversation that occurs between Ed, Granny, and Armstrong in this episode. Armstrong plays the straightman to Ed and Granny bickering, and they comment on how oblivious he is to the joke about two short people arguing over who is shorter than the other.
And the conversation between Ed and Winry when she throws the wrench at him has been utterly butchered, almost completely ripped out. There was a lot of slapstick humor at Ed's expense when she hits him with a wrench, and then yells at him for destroying her beautiful work.

Winry just demonstrated why you don’t pull three straight all-nighters… even if she was being sweet for doing so.

I think the reason I am so attached to Vivi is because the same actress also voices Winry in the English dub and she fuckin nails it in both.

You don't have to feel bad for when Winry beats up Alphonse. She is treating him like he is the person he always was. Bod or not he is basically her little brother too
