How else do you expect someone to have a shot at recovering from such dreadful mental and social trauma? Therapy is incredibly important. If Shigi had received long-term therapy, he could have turned out incredibly different. Instead, AFO gave him the exact opposite: instead of helping him come to terms with his trauma, he imprinted it so deeply on his psyche that the rage ended up replacing everything else.
