I remember I watched chivalry but I really cant remember anything about it Just that it was an average anime with forgettable characters

Well, despite GATE losing here, which I'm surprised to see since it rocked previous polls, Chivalry is only 13 episodes long, and it is enjoyable anime. So, maybe after it GATE will get a turn?

Gate is a technical disaster of a story. If anything, the only thing that GATE is better than Chivalry is the idea.

If I had to guess, it's because the number of people voting for Gate has stayed around the same. Which was a lot of people for the start. But now most of the voters from other shows are going for Failed Knight.

First few polls gate was killing it but now wow just wow. But is bleach today

Gate is a good show, overall probably better than Chivalry from a technical standpoint. But I enjoyed Chivalry more. It had more flaws, but also more high points. And I must not be the only one who feels that way, judging by the poll. If I were assigning scores to aspects of the show, Gate might come out ahead. But Chivalry has a special place in my heart.
