There's a ton of details and there's a lot more politics going around with the different nations and alliances. Definitely takes a couple rewatches to fully grasp every detail.

2025-07-21 08:54:46 +0000 UTCMy 1st watch of this season was very similar to yours, i really struggled with this season and the change in Eren's personality, i think they definitely try to make out the story is very clever and deep at this point but imo it's just told in a very convoluted way with the time skips and purposely withholding the full picture of things for later use. All in all the way u reacted to these episodes is normal they have written it this way on purpose and as always things will be clearer later so don't worry.
