I actually had to have my friend beg me to stick with it a bit further. Like you said, it's a slow burn and it has a ton of characters. It really takes 5 or 6 episodes to get the feel and appreciation for it. I'm really curious to see your thoughts on Season 2. It's the most divisive season of the show and I'm 50/50 on whether you'll appreciate it or find it a bit of a step down. I liked it but appreciated it's importance more on second viewing.
