2022-10-06 13:29:53 +0000 UTCBiotechnica are one of the megacorps (although relatively small compared the giants like Arasaka and Militech) and are publically seen as "nicer" due to focusing on things like medication and, by the '77 timeline, working on restoring the damaged enviornment. The used cloning techniques in the early 21st Century to bring back lost flora and fauna which was a big goal of the corporation. But their image is just becuase just really good at leveraging these good goals for public favour. During the Fourth Corporate War (A war that saw the planet devestated and Night City Nuked) of the 20's they claimed neutrality while selling both sides biological weapons although they favoured Arasaka. So aside from being a dodgy pharmacutical and biotech company they also just flat out create extremely horrific weapons. Also despite their relatively small size for a Megacorp they're politically really powerful because they've made their products indispensible across the globe. I think by the '77 timeline they're the 3rd biggest Corp in Night City (the main setting of the ttrpg and where the video game takes place).

2022-10-06 08:32:02 +0000 UTCso fun lil fact when she's on the car maines hand begins to shake and a lot of people have pointed out that they think thats when his cyberpsychosis basically begins because hes thinking that he wasn't fast/strong enough to get to her in time so to stop that from happening again he begins to get a bunch of new cybernetics so he can save the next person.. and its also why he always talks about David getting better cyberware so that way he can be strong enough to save others too. hope that made sense lol Q~Q

2022-10-06 04:27:31 +0000 UTCThe breach time screen with the 5 x 5 of paired alphanumerics that you kind of touched on in the background behind the emails is actually the Cyberpunk 2077 hacking minigame that you'll come to love/hate. It's a really nice touch that they also have the same interface as the players. Both Kiwi and Lucy also had the same screens up from time to time in the Edgerunners as well, though especially in Lucy's case you'd typically see like 3 or 4 of them at once (hacking the drones in JK's studio on the David rescue and final fight against Adam Smasher are the most noticable spots.
