2023-12-22 04:29:30 +0000 UTCI've heard people adoring the manga for years, and I've finally gotten to watching the show, it's a pretty cool adaptation, but there's one important bad change the studio made I know about which is erasing the mention that the Public Safetey job is a union job and has health insurance benefits and paid time off, that's what Denji is happily singing about in the bathtub, and it's something Denji sings about because Japanese national health insurance is a 70-30 split where the government pays 70 percent, so Denji's parents debt is probably from borrowing that 30% from the Yakuza for his mom's heart condition
