I knew it was coming. But every time...its painful no matter how many times I watch this episode.

I have so many feelings about Uncle Iroh, how he's used his grief to turn away from being the man who jokes about burning a city down, and become the man who stops to help everyone within his reach. How he allows himself the full breadth of his grief, and isn't unmanly for doing so, but makes sure he doesn't allow it to take over other moments of his life.
This Nickelodeon cartoon about elemental wizards sure hits hard with the life lessons.

It is rare for me to cry over stuff in shows, you already know what scene I'm going to mention when it comes to this episode. Does not matter how many times I have seen it, I still break into tears.

a poor farmer looking at his ruined crop field that some kid earthbended to turn into a zoo knowing his family is most likely going to face huge financial difficulties and possibly starvation this winter sure is convinient to ignore this episode.

I'm sure someone has already told you this in YouTube Comment section but Mako is the Voice actor of Iroh and he was terminally ill while singing Leaves From The Vine in the hospital. Also the picture of Iroh's Son is a Young version of Mako the Voice actor.
