Hehehe!! We love being ahead of youtube here on the patreon :3

JoJo's Part Three Episode 6

Comments

Exactly. I have no problem with phasing it out, but at least give us a reason it can't be used anymore or something.

Wil DeYoung

Stands are sort of the shows way of phasing out hamon. By introducing Stands, Araki created a new system where characters’ abilities were tied to their inner spiritual power, rather than relying solely on physical strength or martial arts techniques (Hamon). This allowed for more balanced and strategic battles. It's a little annoying since they just pretend hamon just didn't exist before this, but I can understand the reasoning.

Bolo The Wise

Joseph really out here forgettin that he can use Hamon to walk on water. I know they switched to Stands but does that really mean they can't use Hamon or something?

Wil DeYoung

They were not saying it was deserved, they were saying it was ironic that Jotaro is calling him a condescending prick because Jotaro at this point is just a little shit 90% of the time.

Okoga

Jotaro is right the captain did not need to be a condescending prick all he had to say was don’t smoke on the docks he didn’t need to put the cigarette out on his hat and be disrespectful towards my boy like that and it has nothing to do with Jotaro being edgy Ant, nobody is gonna tolerate that type of disrespect.

ThunderRaichi10000

@joseph joestar’s number one No, you hush them constantly get mad over his attitude is getting very annoying and they need to get over it already.

CyberWolf300

I didn't expect to get so much value with patreon. I thought i'd get and episode earlier but its more, i'm very pleased with this-

Werguild

This is only my guess based on what I've seen, so don't quote me at all, but I think the "kukuhuhu/fufufu" laughter in some anime is basically stereotypical evil laughter, and it works hammy wonders for JoJo

Yagi di Hoshi

It's a -weird- way to make it more dramatic. Basically, it's just hammy

Yagi di Hoshi

Joseph the GDilf

Yagi di Hoshi

So the reason he can talk underwater with his mouth isn't anything canon, it's not a thing in the manga it's just a mistake in the anime.

Zandorum

no they should continue to insult jotaro he is so annoying during this part

what the heck is "Captain & Tennille"?

Youmu Senju

You didn't pay it any mind, so i'll do it in your place: the captain's name was Captain Tennille (Captain Dragon in Netflix's subtitles). You know, like Captain & Tennille?

mmg86

Thanks for the video, hope your having a good day

TrinitytheApostle

When Jotaro uses his stand, the thing he's saying is "ora ora ora." In Japaneses, "ora" is a fighting expression, similar to something like "take this".

Each part is such a unique experience, that it doesn't surprise me in the slightest when people say part 2 is still their favourite even after finishing part 8. It's actually a lot like people's attitudes towards the Persona series. Persona 5 might be the newest and most modern entry, but the other games tell such completely different stories, and each has such a unique look and feel, that many people to this day will still make valid arguments for why they prefer one of the older entries. This also goes for the protagonists as well, each one is always very different from the last. They might share some traits here and there, but there will only ever be one Joseph ;)

Convergeman

I mean, Jotaro is cool and all but his only bit is telling women to shut up and punching people really hard.

k.rainesdd

You miss our boy Jonathon? Well, you're in luck. There's a decently popular fan theory that Star Platinum is Jonathon's Spirit reincarnated as a stand to protect his family. Cause in Part 1 he did say if he died, he would come back and haunt Dio, and they have similar color schemes and the like. But, just a fun little theory.

Pubbles

I low key can’t wait for them to get over Jotaros attitude. It’s gotten so annoying to see them complain every time jotaro is on screen. I get it, but come on

Rocket Science Sucks

Oh man, Star Finger! Remember that for later. Man, the girl (I don't think we got her name this episode?) must have been so confused during that whole thing since she can't see or, presumably, hear the stands. I don't even know what that looks like. The short explanation of The Moon is mostly correct but in a more general sense it can symbolize anything unknown or hidden, deception. Dark Blue Moon kinda also doubles as a music reference to Blue Moon, the old standard ballad. Don't know if that's on purpose though.

Bob

Yeah, there are a few cringe episodes this season, arguably next one too. And sadly next episode is one of them. Sometimes Arakai's madness works wonders, but this time it went sour.

James Gheen

I knew you'd like older Joseph. You wanted DILF/GILF Joseph in Part 2 and now you got it :D. And as a certified North Carolina cracker, you can absolutely tell us crackers when we're on our crackery. :) And yeah, once Jotaro starts giving his attitude towards villains he becomes a lot more sufferable. Part 4 may be my favorite and overall the fights improve there too, but Jotaro gives some of the most satisfying beatdowns of the series in Part 3.

James Gheen

Young Joseph, oddly enough, is probably one of my least favourite. I still love him, but I feel like he is overrated. Plus he was mean to an innocent cat just for a laugh :(

Bastiwen

Part 3 can be pretty fun. If you don’t like Jotaro, you have 4 other characters you can vibe with. It’s pretty common that people will like the some side characters more than the main one in JoJo.

Rare

Jotaro's not really as cunning as he is stubborn and confident. He's greatest strength is trying something either ludicrously dumb or ludicrously dangerous, with them working solely based on the fact that his opponent doesn't see him coming. Jonathan and Joseph were genuinely cunning, while Jotaro's a confident idiot for the most part. Not to spoil anything, but there's an episode involving stolen souls and melting chocolate that perfectly presents what I mean later in the part.

N00B

Also am I the only one who thought the villain today looked a little like a hot Colonel Sanders?

Joey Cat

Thanks for the upload! "You could say he fingered him"...no...just no XD. Get ready for the madness that is the next episode though hahaha.

Joey Cat

Thanks for the new video! I will have to warn you tho, the next episode is really…something else 😅It’s really infamous in the JJBA community so that’s all I’ll say!

Cark
