But it's such a brilliant decision for the anime to do things chronologically instead, because the impact of this episode is just next level.

Due to historic long seafaring tradition they also developed bird spoting so they know what bird it was so they knew if they are close to land or no. History fun side note: Viking girls were (supposedly) first to wear bra. (were made out of metal)
