It's themes of self-improvement and empathy are definitely what a lot of people including myself could benefit from. Just when I thought the show's writing can't get much more nuanced and mature, it kept on surprising me. Definitely a lot more wholesome compared to Made in Abyss 😂 and I say that as a fan of MiA, probably a good move to save the funtime murderhole for later in the year

I feel like emotional attachment is important but that initial physical interest is also key in whether your interested in the person or not....having said that I do like me some big boobas That dark theory of yours damn queen haha. That sounded like something the Joker would have come up with XD It's great your talking a lot. Shows your enjoying the show and I'm sure I speak for most when I say that we all are more interested in your thoughts and analysis then you being quiet while reacting to the series. It's why I subscribed to you, cause you do the analysis along with watching/reacting the series and your takes are so interesting to hear. That juxtaposition of your maternal instincts kicking in crying for Mob and begging him to commit murder had me rolled up XD Thanks for the great upload as always queen, looking forward to the next one :)

Apparently they were time crunched on it and released it in a bad state, but they owned it and just kept working on it for years, slowly adding most of the things they initially promised as well as handful of new things too! It's in a way better state now and is super worth checking out if you still want to explore space with people.

2023-01-05 09:59:31 +0000 UTCHuh, the kanji they translated as "lol" is actually just "laugh", 笑, wara. There is a kanji that is used similarily to lol online and it's 草, kusa, "grass". Why is the kanji for grass used a lol? Well, it comes back to 笑, beacuse the first sound in that word is like a w-sound, people would write w as a short hand for laughter and when laughing a lot they would type wwwww, many w's. The wwwww kinda looks like several blades of grass and so people started using 草 as a shorthand for lots of laughter, much like lol.

My similarities to Mob in that regard are why this show is so special to me. Like no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn't cry when I lost my dad or my grandpa, nearly becoming homeless, having to put off gender transition for my safety, so I just resonated so strongly with this story about a fictional middle school kid who has trouble with emotions trying to better himself. It's an incredible story and I'm excited for you to keep watching it <3

I love OPM but Mob is a tighter nit story and I think the art style that they chose to base the animation around is sooo good. Ep 3 is a banger! But 4&5 are even crazier! And even after the show just keeps on outdoing itself

It’s crazy how much of the intro makes it into the show, and you wouldn’t even realize it until it happens. I also dig the whole Mob-is-stronger-when-feeling-strong-emotions trope considering how pure and anxious the bean is.
