And I so hope that's true cuz it's the cutest backstory honestly lol. I also love they're consistent with their anti violence stance, as soon as they got Mob, they tried to leave without fighting anymore. They didn't get excessive. Just the exact amount of force necessary for them to get their club member back. They're such good boys.

I can sympathize with that story, you were totally justified (Maybe the complete ass kicking went a bit far). You can shit one me but as soon as you shit on friends and family the gloves come off. The "adore"/"abhor" mixup is a case of the wrong kanji, he meant to use 好 as in 好き (to like) but accidentally used 妨 as in 妨げる (to disturb or obstruct). Not sure what kanji he was supposed to write in when calling them bastards but what he wrote was 米 which means rice so the translators clearly knew what they were doing.

At first they’re set up to be antagonistic but then the immediate switch up when you realize they’re just the sweetest bois who just wanna work out and support their friends and honestly that wholesomeness dynamic is great cause it just breaks all the tropes about all those types of characters
