It is just so raw and emotional and to go from that to the reaction was very jarring. I am hoping the best of everything for you and really hope you get ALL the goodness you should have.

I don't even watch trailers for movies I already know I'm going to go see. Even telling someone, "Ooh this is a good episode!" can be a spoiler.

Remember, they are learning how to control the flaw of energy inside himself. The fact that he feels attached isn't a problem. the problem is that he is bound by this atachment. He can't control it and as such isn't able to control his energy. He can feel atached, he just has to learn to not be bound by this desire.

2023-12-28 12:20:41 +0000 UTCKnowing where you're at now with cancer, and seeing this here, is so weirdly awesome to me, you have fought an amazing fight and kicked ass like a real legend! It took me a long time to figure out why Aang had to "let go" of Katara, especially since we know that canonically they end up together and were always going to. My best guess is similar to what someone else said here: loving is not bad, caring and being connected is not bad. Being obsessed, dependent, or overly *attached* IS bad. It can drag us down, cause us to act against ourselves even if it's for a good reason or a good person, it can make us do bad things. Think about everytime Katara or Appa are in danger and how he loses control and hurts a lot of people, and almost indiscriminately. That's *not* healthy, but the love and connection itself are, but that's just my take.

I am glad that you included it and are so open about your situation because after watching quite a few of your videos and the comments you have made along the way about your situation I care about how you are doing. It breaks my heart to hear that you are not doing well right now (at the time of this recording) and that you probably have a long and hard way in front of you. There is really not much I can say besides that on the one hand I value and enjoy your content but that on the other hand I really hope that you are producing it mostly for your own benefit and that you will take a break whenever you are not feeling up to it or are even just not in the mood for it. As for the Guru, I figure what he means with the last Chakra is that Aang needs to be able to do his job as the Avatar regardless of his attachments to the world. Aangs integrity as the Avatar must be preserved, even if something were to happen to his strong attachments. So people in the world can count on Aang to do his job to bring balance to the world :)

2023-01-11 21:10:22 +0000 UTCYea, for Zuko. Hunting down Aang was almost like an addiction for him. We saw in these last few episodes how anxious he was getting because he couldn't do that. Iroh is able to help him get through this, and then Zuko crashes hard. But he gets through it, he's clear, he doesn't feel that drive to hunt Aang now. So, he can just be in recovery now.

Feeling grief isn't a bad thing at all, it's normal, but you mustn't let it cripple you or become an obstacle to you living your life, that's when it turns destructive and unhealthy.

You are going through SO MUCH, and we are LUCKY and privileged that you share your time and these experiences with us. If these reactions help to get you into your Happy Place, that's fantastic. We love that for you. If it's too much to record, don't do it for us. If you are doing it for YOU, to make you feel better, then by all means, go for it, but you and your well-being come first. Take care of yourself first. I mean, I know you do, and I'm really glad you have a supportive family. My sweet bean, I wish I could give you a big squishy hug and make everything instantly ok. And it may be small comfort, but...my sister and I are both adopted. There's no shortage of babies out there in need of loving mommas. If it comes down to it, there are children out there who will be SO LUCKY to get you as a mom. <3
