2023-01-15 17:25:56 +0000 UTCThis is kinda my own weird interpretation. I feel like Oreki and Chitanda have this weird Unmovable object vs Unstoppable Force relationship. Oreki is someone whose entire purpose is making the least amount of action as possible while Chitanda is someone who only really knows how to take action. Its almost like to actually write an interesting story about this lazy genius it needs an unstoppable force that is Chitanda to make the story move. Its weird cause it doesnt feel like a natural relationship while every other character is very natural in their environment. To me, thats why Chitanda can fall flat as a character because she just feels like a plot device.

Plus the dynamic between him and the main girl can be so fascinating. That scene where they met the guy smoking was so cool. Piecing together why he was acting all shady was that sort of mystery element I love while watching shows like this. The fact you nailed it so early though, well done queen! We're gonna be stuck on this dead girl theory for a while aren't we queen XD What a fun episode and surprising to see queen dislike a waifu, time will tell if she becomes one of many "babies" XD

One of my favorite shows. There's no grandiose plot, and I feel not many people talk about it compared to some other KyoAni shows, but it does a fantastic job of establishing the MC's character and his emotion and decision making, and hearing your thought on it only cements that point further. Thanks again, and since this is my first comment here, I want to say: I wish you a successful recovery and the strength to get through the difficult time.
