2024-12-18 17:05:11 +0000 UTCI am starting to get so many flashbacks to Thriller Bark where so many of Luffy's (and most of the Straw Hats, if we're being honest) Ls were due to stupidity - and not "funny" stupidity, but "stupid" stupidity. I really disliked Thriller Bark because of it, and I'm hoping they get past this phase quickly because overall I'm really enjoying Whole Cake Island... outside of the parts that involve Luffy - which sucks because you shouldn't be saying that about the MC.

2024-12-18 00:08:56 +0000 UTCSo I have written a couple of times about how I feel Sanji is the middle brother of the Crew, who is desperately trying to hold things together and be there for the younger ones. Especially seen in Ennis Lobby, where he was the one who tried to explain things for Chopper and be there for him. As well as leaving food and medicine for Usopp. And I just feel that his entire episode explains why he became like that, so very well. And while it was already understandable, it truly puts his undying devotion to Zeff in a whole new light.

If there's one thing thats been established for the past 800 episodes, it's that luffy can be very easily tricked.
