There were a few people in chat that asked who voiced the line "Me? I loved him." in the song, no idea who said it irl but I'm pretty sure it's referencing a character named Kris from a manga called Angel Dust (watch though, it's spicy), where there was a nun who loved him and got brutally killed, among other things. I could be wrong though, but it fits the rest of the song, as that is the backstory they sing about.

Such as the fact that you have a lot to start with for visuals because someone else did it for you. However, there are also many things I love about them. Such as Ep 3 of sao actually having a purpose to the series. Or Goku being more Goku than before. In the end, its entertainment.

2024-12-23 04:36:05 +0000 UTCI'm just imagining the whole way back Alucard is setting up the ship speaker system to play this song as he arrives on the scene, and part of it is him reaching deep down within to find a fucking electrician he ate once to figure out how to fix half the speakers he trashed. Also, this episode and the previous one felt themed with the jokes seven constantly threw in 'it's a matter of perspective'. This one 'your prior words are gonna haunt ya.' But I think the TFS team really did nail that bit with the end. "Don't weep for the stupid, you'll be crying all day." Anderson did something foolish, downright idiotic, and it ruined any true he had of beating Alucard. He used the Nail, on himself, and became a monster. Alucard refuses to die to anything other than a man. He saw Anderson as man. The one who could potentially kill him. Anderson threw his humanity away, and made the same stupid mistake Alucard did himself ages ago. Alucard wept for the stupid.

2024-12-21 05:02:28 +0000 UTCFun Fact: It's mentioned on early in the manga/anime that Anderson has a healing factor built on nanomachines (So tempted to do the reference). In Episode 2 Alucard gets his black gun, The Jackal, specifically for permanently damaging Anderson along with specially crafted bullets. That's why Anderson can't regenerate his left arm and is forced to grip onto it with his teeth during their fight in this scene when he casually recovered from a headshot in episode 1.
