2024-12-28 18:18:26 +0000 UTCPersonally I still think its still implied that Zeff ate his leg, since he could've possibly got it back after initially cutting it off as he was searching for food and treasurer just before washing ashore onto that rock. It was just implied in a way that could be confused with the less subtle implication that he cut off his own foot. Making it a bit lighter so it doesn't effect the shows ratings while still subtly hinting at it.

Don't force yourself to sit through everything, unfortunately, overusing flashbacks is a trick the anime often does to fill the runtime. At least, you enjoyed rewatching some of these.
