It doesn't spoil anything (I think it came out around this point), and it's filled with cameos and easter eggs. It was very well done.

Alicia keep in mind Luffy's "voice of all things" ability didn't awaken until after timeskip, and in Zou he was so distracted with Raizo he never directly paid any attention to the Poneglyph. Also he just has a general distaste for reading anything that isnt his bounty so....

Every time I watch this Arc it reminds me of wonderland so I always think of it as a dream or a crazy acid trip 🤣😂 Big mom's character reminds me of the story/movie of this morbidly obese mom. When she passed away they had to use a crane to get her out of the house. It's a very sad story and movie 😭😭😭 31:06 she's a great artist but they remind me of cabbage 😂🤣😂🤣

Luffy pulling out of chasing Sanji the moment that he knows Sanji has all the info he needs to make his own educated decision is such a sign of his character and why hes the best protag in shonen. It also kind of reflects what he learned from when Usopp left the crew and tried to rejoin. Usopp needed the time and space to reflect and realise that he needed to properly apologize before rejoining. Not allowing his crewmembers to make their own decisions and letting them come back for themselves because they actually believe in coming back would directly oppose his goal of freedom.

The only smoke related thing that One Piece has officially done is a collaboration with Dupont, together they designed Sanji's lighter for the manga and eventually the anime. im questioning if Luffy even can read. Hes pirate raised by bandits in the jungle, and I dont remember him reading in the story. If something important enough to be on another he has Robin and Nami. Even with the wanted posters its Nami reading it up for him XD
