I’m only half way in , up to the meatballs, but is Tattiana fucking the chef? Why is she defending him so much? lol.

BRO THAT LADY SUUCKKED!!! MAN the fact she had her mum and sisters life in constant jeopardy, refused to engage in her own business and refuses to take responsibility for anything. Also IF EVER IN MY LIFE someone who fired me, tried to hug me I'm throwing hands on the spot. Like don't get me wrong that chef deserved to get fired, but read the room lady. That whole episode was painful

After watching you react to Uncle Roger Videos and Kitchen Nighmares, I would love to see you react to Food Wars. Although it has a lot of fanservice. It is all about cooking and would love to see your reaction.

At the mom's retirement moment I to paused and said "I might actually hate this woman."

MenacingScone

Bar rescue host just isnt as interesting as gordon

Lightinger

She was 29 or 30 when this was filmed. And she has a well adjusted sister. Tatiana also did not work hard, very explicitly changed nothing after buying a failed bussines. Also they closed because of personal drama so she propably did not grow after this

ooh i saw some people in chat mentioning watching hotel hell. if theres ever a point where youre trying to fill a spot then HH is a good choice for sure. Gordon runs it as well

Bolo The Wise

I love toasted ravioli ❤️

Bar rescue. It’s 100% worth it. But know going in that food and drink wise, a lot of the episodes are a lot more gross, so be prepared

Tatiana is one great example of a person who is ruled by their emotions. Hopefully she is going to be ruled by pride in her work someday.

Cat on Crack

I don't even blame the waitresses for not communicating, Imagine being told as a rule that you're not allowed to talk to the chefs for years and then getting yelled at for not communicating with the chefs

Jacob

What do you expect me to say? xD You are willing to watch a feature-length film long video hearing Alicia talking for about halve the time but a comment with about as much words than an average picture book for three year olds is too much for you. Ok, I guess. I won't force you. :D

coolcat_77

Done right toasted ravioli is fucking bomb. Not these. These are shit.

Nakhtichaos

I have been a baker for over a decade and I literally screamed when I saw the "focaccia". That was the most lifeless, insulting excuse for anything but a store bought hamburger bun.

I don't fully agree with Alicia on this one. Tatiana was inexperienced. No one ever sat her down and told her she couldn't be whatever she wanted just by wishing it into existence. We all were like that at one time in our life until we hit a brick wall and learn to overcome it. She never had to and THAT's the main problem here. To realize the only thing you can change in your life is not your environment/the people around you but yourself and you have to grow as a person to step up to the plate to turn things around, is something that has to be learned the hard way and Tatiana showed that in this episode. Not everyone is as though as Alicia, at least not initially. You grow the hair on your teeth and that takes time and experience. At least the second part is something Tatiana was missing. That's also the reason, why I partially(!) blame the mother for the predicament they were in. She was delusional and believed so much in her daughter, she gave up her life's earnings to prove it. She was wrong. If she had been honest with herself earlier, stopping her child making a stupid mistake instead of encouraging her, Tatiana would never have bought the place. Tatiana, of course, shares the other half of the blame, I don't question that part. She is a grown woman, who made a mistake and didn't take responsibility for it. All I'm saying is, she grew in this episode and that's commendable. The restaurant was failing for a while now. It's extremely hard to turn a sinking ship around, so I don't blame anyone for the closure. If they had more time, maybe it could have worked. Until Jonathan left, it seemed to look promising. And Alicia: You have to admit, you were also(!) lucky to be in a position to be able to help your parents. Not saying, you didn't work hard for it, but there are others who work just as hard and never get off the ground. Those are people who need help from others and if you can't even ask your family for help, who the fuck should you ask? That's not a weakness to be looked down upon. Rubbed me the wrong way in this video. To clarify: Should you buy a restaurant, if you are in this position? Fuck, no. Like I said in the beginning, I agree; just not fully.

coolcat_77

35:40 Technically, she'd need to earn hundreds of thousands of dollars to work her way up to "worthless".

Liesmith

if you fuck up a spagetie just turn the heat up add some red pepper burn that shit call it pasta assassino

Lance Ivy

Real Talk Bar Rescue with Taka would be so fun

Kyle Ruggles

Bar Rescue is overall very similar to this. The main differences is that in Bar Rescue they delve more into the methodology behind running and operating a bar and John Taffer has less charisma than Gordon Ramsey IMO.

BakaSama

Bar Rescue would be really fun

Brookie XD

Ehhhhh Bar rescue is kitchen nightmares with a way less likeable Gordon. Not a huge fan personally.

Craig

Alicia have you thought of watching hotel hell as well??

Axel Garcia

Taco! also to bring you back to your server days, here's more relatable restaurant content! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV3X_hgmfqI

hiddennijafist .

Tatiana is the perfect proof of how the shōnen spirit doesn't work in real life... You can't run a restaurant with the power of friendship and believing in yourself XD

Professeur Multivers

Is she ready for Mangia Mangia? I don’t know if she’s ready for Mangia Mangia lol
