It's always hilarious af to me that Lingli has the same VA as Gyokuyou does (although it makes sense considering the VA's other roles include Frieren/Anya/Chise among other things. She basically has a mix of loli & stoic type character roles, + some young male roles as well)

Sometimes even human babies, if they are born extra hairy, get a childhood nickname like this. (I still call my fully adult tax paying cousin by this name to troll him.)

I guess the op was so well designed that few really stopped to think, "are these stills spoils?" The 2nd opening with the kind of 2.5D story book is still my favorite, though.

There should never be a scenario where one feels it's appropriate to declaw, other than scenarios where the cat's health may be at risk. If one is worried about a cat clawing people or furniture, one should take the time and effort to trim the tip, file it down, and purchase scratching posts designed to help dull a cat's claws.

Like, if she had to take care of an animal, she'd probably go with something poisonous, but I don't think it would be out of fondness or curiosity about the type of animal. Like, you don't have to love chickens if you're raising one just for it's eggs.

It's less about the pacing (because last season basically adapted the same amount of chapters per episode) and more that these two events are less connected

It's more than just cutting the nail or even taking it out entirely. It's a surgical process. Cutting the nails is fine, it's like cutting the nails on humans. They grow back. Cats can sometimes even 'lose their nails' naturally, in which case it does grow back, but it should be kept clean so it doesn't get infected.
