His little speech to Katakuri about regular people having the right to change the future despite not being able to see it is a pretty powerful and under appreciated moment of humanity by him, it is a legitimately uplifting and empowering point of view and shows his psychology is more nuanced than one might think. There’s also him being brave, highly competent, not being willing to sell out his co conspirators, being an actual good boss to his subordinates and a good husband and father to cap it all off.

He is just such a backstabbing piece of shit, but he got that Maniac Energy you need to be in the race for the Pirate King. The guy is just constantly plotting and replotting, as he goes to take on people way out of his league. It gets me how Sanji goes to punch Judge, before he opens his hand and grabs him. Because his hands are for cooking, not fighting.
