2025-02-02 01:48:40 +0000 UTCYeah that tends to be a trend in adaptations for budget and effort constraints and such. There is also just the fact that a visual medium has way more distractions so a scene can feel cluttered or claustrophobic with too many characters at once. It is unfortunate.

That being said though, I hope that the 8 people who didn't get included in were important in any way to the story otherwise, that could be problematic in the future.
