Keep in mind, the original "Nosferatu: a Symphony of Horror" came out way back in 1922, and it was made the way it was primarily to avoid paying Bram Stoker's estate for the rights to Dracula ("Nosferatu" is literally just an old word for "vampire," the titular character is actually named Count Orlok). That film is literally over a hundred years old now! It survived all this time DESPITE the Stoker estate's best efforts!
