Alicia not ready for the animation spike in Wano. Also there are some minor follow up details that only appear in cover pages for the manga for anyone curious right now on what happened to Germa

2025-03-02 06:01:33 +0000 UTCGod seeing pudding like that hurts me soo much! It'll probably never happen but I do hope still after all is over they do get together, because they are such a good pair! No one got close to live Sanji the way Pudding does!

2025-02-22 16:22:06 +0000 UTCIf you had asked me at the beginning through the midway point of the arc if I would ever feel sorry for Pudding, (assuming I wasn't aware of some spoilers) the answer would have clearly been "no". But here we are at the end of the arc, after Pudding had said goodbye to Sanji, after removing the memories that would have held him back, or at least cause him to pause... seeing her completely destroyed in a back alley wrecked me emotionally. All it took was for Sanji to be the first person ever to tell her that she was beautiful - third eye and all - and she completely changed as a person. As a psychologist streamer I follow often says, "hurt people hurt people" - and this is so true of Pudding... and honestly, Katakuri and Brulee as well.

2025-02-18 21:54:51 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure they're joking about how ALICIA said Bonney saved Luffy instead of Zoro.

2025-02-18 00:28:51 +0000 UTCWell we know that isn't the case since Katakuri appears in the same cover story as Pudding where Totto Land gets invaded for a second time by two different groups.

2025-02-17 14:15:26 +0000 UTCSo Alicia since you mentioned it in an earlier episode and now again the reaction to big moms ship, the sense of scale in OP is super messed up, to put things into perspective, the sunny from the lowest point to the tip of the main mast is as tall as a wall titan from AoT... So... Big moms ship... Yeah your reaction is accurate xD Also even usopp could beat big mom in the water, a devil fruit eater trying to fight underwater is like a magikarp using splash xD shit doesn't do anything xD

2025-02-17 13:34:07 +0000 UTCKatakuri is 48. He's Linlin's second son and third oldest. That's part of the reason it's considered so unbelievable that Luffy could defeat him. He's three times older, and has been fighting in worse conditions than Luffy did as a child, ever since he, himself, was a child. He's meant to be an older, far more experienced reflection of Luffy. Moreover, Katakuri, Oven, and Daifuku are triplets. Also, in case it wasn't clear, Flame mentioned that she was the favorite younger sister of all of her older brothers except for one. That one being Katakuri. Care to guess who Katakuri's favorite younger sister is? It would be great if you could tone down the toxicity on every antagonist. It's really getting old hearing you call people dickheads, bitches, and no-names. The Big Mom Pirates are feared for a reason.

2025-02-17 05:36:45 +0000 UTCThe dub screwed up Luffy's orders to Jinbe. It was so direct that it was the title of the chapter. "Even if you die, don't die."

2025-02-17 05:27:15 +0000 UTCOda said ima write a good romance plot and make my fans cry about it lol. I loved the sanji and pudding story out of all of whole cake.

2025-02-17 03:30:16 +0000 UTCYou know, out of everything in this giant ass Shonen series with all its battles and epic moments and pirate kinging, that final moment with Pudding and Sanji is probably my favourite moment in the series. Not only is it absolutely magical, it's also just a huge flex from Oda to write such a great romance plot this deep into the series, especially after giving everyone the impression that he wouldn't write romance like that. 2025-02-16 18:05:54 +0000 UTCNami also shined a lot in this arc, when she is with Ussop she is always with him in fights but she really shined here alone with her composure and determination

2025-02-16 16:13:06 +0000 UTCMorgans did his research and found out Zoro isn't Pirate King material is all. Like, the man HUNTED pirates before becoming one - so much so that it's STILL his nickname. XD

2025-02-16 13:57:29 +0000 UTCWano arc is the longest arc in One piece so prepare yourself i think over 170 episodes

2025-02-16 13:46:30 +0000 UTCWhole cake island is such a great arc with so much great character writing. Not just for Sanji and the main characters but so many of the side characters as well. Bege becoming one of the best husbands and bio dads in the entire series, Chiffon being a real one and a genuine badass in her own way, Pedro fulfilling his destiny and going out with a bang (sorry). My favorite for the arc has to be Pudding, though. I absolutely love the way she was written, and the way her story was revealed, but also how she changed and grew and started finding her own self in the end. Oda stated in an interview that he's not good at writing romance stories, but with this arc, I would beg to differ. The whole story between Sanji and Pudding is, in my eyes, a great romance story. Just because it didn't end with the two of them together doesn't mean it's not a romance. The ending with Pudding keeping the memory of her kissing him is just so beautiful, I could write paragraphs about that alone. I also love the shift in perspective on Brulé at the end. It puts so much of her actions in a different light and genuinely made me love her more as a character as well. I'm really glad Alicia loved this arc.

2025-02-16 12:03:09 +0000 UTC40:00 my head canon is that Pudding tells Katakuri about her feelings and both of them set out to find Sanji. Katakuri having lost his standing in big moms eyes - like what's he good for if he isn't the perfect one?

2025-02-16 10:04:00 +0000 UTCNow that the arc is over, people who call Luffy beating Katakuri plot armor don't understand what plot armor means. It's not when the reason for a win is important, it's when someone wins because they are the main character. It's a complaint about bad writing that doesn't make sense, but Luffy vs Katakuri makes perfect sense. Yes, Katakuri could have killed Luffy, but when he was hungry and got careless, he really thought Luffy was done for, since as the chefs said, only Luffy could eat like that to survive. When he was angry, Luffy was able to fight back. After he got his focus back, he was still angry and wanted to show how much better than Luffy he was by hitting him as he was about to get up or hitting his shoulder as Luffy was about to punch etc. And finally, he started respecting him for refusing to stay down and for how much Luffy grew during that fight. I don't even care someone calls that bad writing, but if that's plot armor, then every fictional fight that makes sense in the story is plot armor. Luffy didn't win just to continue the story, he survived because of who Katakuri is. That's LITERALLY what Luffy was talking about with Rayleigh: "It depends on who I'm fighting."
I'm following way too many nsfw accounts to use a name here

2025-02-16 08:13:39 +0000 UTCHaving gone through multiple reactors watching One Piece 877 may be my favorite episode of the show. Hell I still remember reading the chapter end with Sanji and Zeff and thinking that chapter was one of the absolute best in the entire manga. Also, you now see why Katakuri never voted Flampe as Best Sister, because there is only one Best Sister in his eyes.

2025-02-16 08:05:25 +0000 UTC26:15 ah yes, I do remember her saving luffy as he was walking down the street drunk and nearly sliced the celestial dragon with one of his 3 swords in sabaody.
